Dr Bill Truong

FRACGP, MPH & TM, MBBS

Dr Truong graduated from the University of Sydney in 1998. He did his medical student training at Westmead Hospital and elected to spend several years working in the Central Coast and Mid North Coast of NSW after graduation.

This offered a wonderful opportunity to gain more experience working in smaller towns and comprehensive healthcare including emergency care, paediatrics, cancer care and general medical and surgical care. In these locations Dr Truong honed his ability to confidently look after after all areas of heath, especially adult and child health (with particular interest in preventative health and public health). He has worked in a sexual health unit and is very sensitive in caring for patients who require help in this area.

In 2008 he completed his Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicine from James Cook University. He completed an elective in Travel Medicine as part of his further qualifications.


Dr Vincent Wong

BSc(Med), MBBS(UNSW), FRACGP

Dr Wong graduated from the University of NSW in 2003 before doing his Internship and Residency at St George Hospital in Kogarah.

During his training, Dr Wong gained valuable medical experience in developing countries, when he travelled to complete elective terms in Vietnam and the Philippines. He trained in trauma medicine and rural community health during this time.

In 2009, Dr Wong completed Specialised General Practice training in Southern and South Western Sydney. He spent further time working in far western NSW, as well as the Mid-North coast of NSW. He is skilled in all areas of General Practice – but has special interests in Skin Cancer Surgery, Migrant Health, Children’s Health, Men’s Health, Family Planning & Contraceptive advice and Management of Chronic Diseases like Diabetes.


Dr Dung Lam

MBBS (Hons) (UNSW), FRACGP

Dr Lam graduated from the University of NSW in 2003, completing his internship and resident years at Liverpool Hospital, a large tertiary teaching hospital where he gained valuable experience in his rotations in internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, emergency medicine and palliative care. He also had the opportunity to work in smaller district hospitals, including the NSW north coast, gaining valuable rural experience.

He completed his General Practice training in Sydney in 2008, and has continued to work in West and South West Sydney. He is experienced in all aspects of General Practice, including children’s health, women’s health, preventative healthcare, chronic disease management, and general family health care. He has a special interest in geriatric medicine and palliative care.


Dr Steve Truong

MBBS, FRACGP, Grad. Cert. Acupuncture

Dr Truong graduated from Sydney University in 1997. He completed his internship and residency based at Westmead Hospital. He spent some time working in general practice in the Central Coast, and has spent the past 6 years as a general practictioner working in Western Sydney. He has an interest and experience in all areas of community and family medicine, and also has hospital experience in geriatric and rehabilitation medicine. He has also done extra training in acupuncture to treat a range of different conditions, and has been providing these services to patients.


Dr Yen Tao

MBBS (Syd Uni), FRACGP, SH + FPA

Dr Tao is a female GP with over 10 years experience in medicine.

Dr Tao graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery degree. She completed post-graduate training at Westmead hospital, Auburn hospital, Blacktown hospital, Mt Druit hospital, and Nepean Hospital with extra clinical experience in rural and outer metropolitan hospitals such as Orange, Coffs Harbour, the Gold Coast and Bundaberg.

She went on to complete her General Practice specialty training and has been in general practice for the past many years.

She obtained a certificate in Family Planning.

Dr Tao sees patients for general medical presentations, however, has a particular interest in diabetes and women’s health.


MBBS: FRACGP: DIPL.IN CHILD HEALTH

Dr Shironee Gogulan is a female general practitioner who has many years of experience in medicine. She graduated from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka with honours in 2003. She migrated to Australia in 2007 and worked in Queensland, Gosford Hospital and Wollongong Hospital before joining for her General Practice training in South Coast, NSW. Throughout her training in various specialities. She obtained skills and experience in Women’s health including Antenatal shared care, children’s health, Chronic disease care, preventative healthcare, sexual health, mental health and Occupational exposure related injuries.

She took the opportunity to train and work in rural and metropolitan areas with wider demographics in Australia. She is very proud about the opportunity to work with and look after Indigenous Australians in Wollongong.

Dr Gogulan has also completed Diploma in child health with Westmead Children’s Hospital. She is also fluent in Tamil and Sinhalese.

Dr Himali Meegoda

Dr Himali Meegoda obtained her medical degree in 1990 and completed General Practice training in Western Sydney, and received the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2007. She has practised at many hospitals in Sydney and Melbourne and three years in Sri Lanka. She has been practising in the western Sydney suburbs far more than 17 years as a GP.

She has experience in all aspects of General Practice, including women’s health, children’s health, preventative healthcare, chronic disease management, and general family health care. She is fluent in Sinhala. She likes to spend quality time with her patients and take goodcare of them
