Important COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information

Due to the current COVID pandemic, we are requesting that you book a TELEPHONE or TELEHEALTH consultation with your doctor. Following this initial consult, your doctor will advise you on whether you need a face-to-face visit to the practice. Patients will be required to wear a mask at the Medical Centre as required by NSW Health.

We respectfully ask our patients NOT to come into the medical centre if they are unwell with:

a fever, cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath;

OR

If they are under COVID isolation;

OR

Had contact with someone diagnosed with or suspected of having COVID;

OR

Have travelled internationally or domestically in the last 14 Days

TeleHealth consultations are available with our doctors if you meet one of the following criteria:

• You have attended an in-person consult at our clinic within the last 12 months

• Are living in a COVID-19 Commonwealth declared hotspot

• Are in COVID-19 quarantine or isolation due to a State or Territory public health order

• Are less than 12 months old

• Are experiencing homelessness

This medical centre does not provide COVID-19 testing or Medical Clearance Certificates.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

*** NEW patients to the practice will be charged for the first consultation. Depending on the appointment, the charge would be either $66.40 or $105.10. We will process the medicare claim on the spot and you will get all the money back, apart from the $25. This applies to all new patients to Rydalmere Medical Centre (excluding those who have also been to Parramatta Medical Centre) and will be a ONE-TIME ONLY fee ***

Bookings for our other services (other than seeing a Doctor) still require you to call us directly.
